It has an inside pocket, which is topped off with a label of natural vegetable leather hot stamped with "Vanessa Bruno Made in Madagascar". Vanessa Bruno honors raffia and its land of origin: Madagascar. The island is the cradle of a high quality raw material and is an expert in a unique weaving know-how that is perpetuated and developed from generation to generation. Entirely handmade, Vanessa Bruno raffia bags require five to twenty-two days of work for the most complex models. This production allows Malagasy women to have access to a profession and a stable source of income.
